Well, I have to continue mveaches story from yesterday. After disappointment (neither of us getting "the" shot"), I decided that we should try a couple of other quick and easy falls in the area. So…since Falling Water Creek was much lower in waterfall than the near flood stage I shot it in last time, I was able to get some rather different shots. I decided I like the cascade in the foreground and the falls in the background. The only problem is…that you think the falls is tiny (it’s 12 feet I believe).

Here is the terrace at the beginning of the season. I spent a bank holiday throwing away all the things that had been wizened by winter and slaying the engorged slug population. Now I am just giving them seaweed and watching them sprout. Already it’s having a growth spurt so I thought I would chart its progress. The Squirrel has attacked all the empty window boxes. My tactic this year is to grow anything small inside until it’s big enough not to be of interest to the peanut burying squirrel. Oh how I hates him. HATES HIM I DO.
